I was able to read your Facebook page (even though I don't have a Facebook account).
It wouldn't surprise me if Akhenaten skipped the "Moses wandering in the wilderness thing" (lol). The Amarna experience was perhaps the closest thing to "roughing it" that he cared to do. I don't really see him running off with Nefertiti either. They didn't seem compatible, at least in terms of producing a healthy male heir.
Horemheb now emerges as the reign of Akhenaten rebooted! But, I suspect Akhenaten had dumped Nefertiti for other partners by then, i.e., in hopes of producing additional heirs. Interestingly, Ahmed places the Exodus after the reign of Horemheb, but I haven't thought any more about that particular idea.
